That and your strafe speed is terrible but that was a design choice to force you to use potions.ĭespite the GDX being massively unfnished (most of the spells just don't work at all against tougher enemies and I don't know if that's the fault of the GDX being in an early stage or it's a game design flaw) it's surprisingly fun.
Luckily you can whack away at a wall to damage a weapon enough but still, pretty bad design choice. Enjoy.Withaven -as a game- really only has two main problems: the hit-detection on some of the weapons is really bad and you cannot swap out a weapon for a more durable version of the same weapon until your current weapon is sufficiently damaged. I have even fixed the problem where you were unable to select Ophelia's Nightmare Level map if you had the Nightmare Levels expansion enabled. Now when you select the "Single Player" and then the "Custom Level" option in the Main Menu you will be given a list of every singleplayer map in the retail game. Then check the box beside the "Always specify these command-line parameters" statement. In the "Advanced" section of the Blood 2 Launcher add this command "+enableretaillevels 1" in the Command-Line prompt.
Start up the Blood 2 launcher and make sure that you have selected all of the Blood 2 Extra Crispy REZ files in the Customize menu to load up when you play Blood 2. Place all REZ files and both of the WORLD and WORLD_AO folders into your Blood 2 Custom folder.ģ. Make sure that there is a folder in your Blood 2 directory named Custom. This mod will also include script features using Tren's FX Enhancer mod as a base. Attempting to bring back the goodness of the overlooked Blood 2, this mod will contain a texture pack with sharpened map textures, menu graphics, and skins for all models.
